This is the 7th or 8th time this listing has come up, always from a different seller profile. I report every time. But yes, like whack-a-mole. Buyer beware.

That’s rather sneaky of the seller. These are the 2022 books of LotR, but not the Hobbit. They haven’t reissued that. They’ve craftily placed the Hobbit slightly askew so it looks as if it’s the same size as the others. The 2022 set is also textured paper and not clothe boards.

What are peoples thoughts on this signature? It’s not something I’d go for myself but as Tolkien didn’t particularly like how Puffin edited a few things in this edition, do you think he’d sign it?
