which I think had the lowest print run?
It did have the lowest of the first three printings, which is what we have data on.
1st Impression - 3,000 copies
2nd Impression - 750 copies
3rd Impression - 1,500 copies
Not sure we know about the others after the 3rd.
Thanks Mr Underhill.
Do you know when they stopped printing 50th Anniversary on the spine, and were all those Lego Spa printed?

They stopped putting "50th Anniversary" on the spine somewhere around the 8th or 9th printing as far as I know, but would need a member to chime in who has that volume in hand. I only have a 1st printing currently. I had a 13th print that I sold some months ago. As far as where they were printed, HC did switch to RR Donnelly around the time they took off the "50th" but again, we'd need a member who has these in hand to confirm.
OK thanks for these details. Much appreciated.
p.s. just purchased a 50th Anniversary labelled copy off of eBay. Still sealed so no idea which impression - didnt bid on the one above as looks a bit damaged. Just wanted one in mint condition that was printed by Lego Spa with the 50th on the spine. Not otherwsie worried about the impression. If it is Donnelly I will post here with the impression details - my thoughts are Donnelly impressions dont have the 50th on the spine (but could be wrong).

I'm looking for the large print hardbacks of the LotR and CoH in this style. Just in case someone here has something to offer!
Also remarqued by Bill…a few times.
