The lots that are available are:
85. Set of Houghton Mifflin editions of The Lord of the Rings (not stated firsts, but definitely early). All three volumes inscribed by Tolkien to Deirdre Levinson, also includes two short letters written by Tolkien also to Ms. Levinson. The letters give additional information about Tolkien's whereabouts not included in Hammond and Scull's Chronology, so there may be some minor scholarly value as well. Estimated at $15,000 - $18,000
86. Presentation first editions of the British Lord of the Rings, dedicated to Elaine Griffiths, including elvish inscription in Fellowship. Absolutely stunning condition (look brand new), housed in custom box. Estimated at $80,000 - $120,000
87. First edition of Hompen Eller En Resa Dit Och Tillbaksigen [The Hobbit]. (Swedish). Signed “To M.E. Griffiths, from J.R.R.T.”. Estimated at $2000 - $3000
88. Original art by Pauline Baynes, redrawn for Poems and Stories because the original art for Smith of Wootton Major was too small for the larger book size. 5 1/2" by 8 1/2". Signed by Pauline Baynes. Estimated at $2000 - $3000
89. Map by Pauline Baynes of Middle-earth, signed by Tolkien and Pauline Baynes. According to Tolkien's secretary Joy Hill, "It is printed on special paper & there are only three signed maps on any paper in the world." This is one of those three copies. Estimated at $4000 - $6000
90. First Edition Of Danton: A Study by Hillaire Belloc, presented by J.R.R. Tolkien to his son. Wonderful presentation signature by Tolkien to his son in 1945. Estimated at $3000 to $5000
