It could very well be a drawing done of this photo, it has been pointed out to me that the dimensions are virtually identical of the drawing and the photo.

I’ve overlaid the two using Photoshop and the match is almost exact – to the extent that any divergence may be due to my inaccuracy. One image is a full overlay, with the sketch semitransparent. The other is half photo, half sketch. If it were genuine, EV Gordon would have had to have copied it from the photo, not from life. I’ve seen Gordon’s signature, but I don’t have a copy of it that I can check.
